What the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is

  • The Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is Thailand’s long-stay multiple-entry visa aimed at digital nomads, remote workers and people doing soft-power activities (e.g., Muay Thai, Thai cooking, culture). It’s valid for up to 5 years and allows up to 180 days per entry.
  • You must apply from outside Thailand, normally through the official e-visa website or at a Thai Embassy/Consulate in the country where you’re legally present.
  • On arrival in Thailand with the DTV, you can stay 180 days and then extend another 180 days at Immigration if you choose
